Prismatics

Prismatic machined parts to a current envelope size of 500mm cubed can be manufactured on both four and five axis machining centres in a range of materials includng aluminium, titanium and stainless steels by AF.

This type of product benefits from the use of Computer Aided Manufacturing techniques that embrace CATIA V5 modelling and cutter path generation.  Using this process we offer fast track implementation with concurrent engineering support to enable manufacturability and lower cost from day one.

The customer model files are also used to generate the programmes for th automated CMM measuring machines and thus ensure total quality management through out, and a consistent product over time.

We urge customers to consider any added value options we can apply by undertaking simple assembly of bushes, wire inserts or locking plates into the parts finish condition. We also suggest exploring a variety of logistics solutions that can be best matched to custmer needs, including the kitting of product for line side assembly.
